"Pass your hand near the phone when it’s in standby and the screen gently wakes, shows a near-dark background speckled with stars and reveals how many texts, emails or missed calls you have before turning off again. It’s a neat feature."

"Overall, the S4 is a great smartphone with so many features packed into it that will tempt users of other phones to it. If you're an Android user, this is the next phone you will want to consider upgrading to if you like the latest and greatest features. "

"Samsung has something for everyone in the Android-powered Galaxy S 4. It's this year's no-brainer: the phone to get if you don't want to worry about which phone to get. No matter what you want to do, the Galaxy S 4 can get it done."

"Most of the Galaxy S4's strongly marketed features are party tricks with an initial wow factor that grows thin very quickly. Many of them are actually significantly flawed. Take Air View, which allows you to hover over the screen with your finger to display extra information, such as previewing an e..."

"With its established brand and ubiquitous marketing, Samsung's Galaxy S4 is bound to be a commercial success -- but that doesn't mean it's unconditionally the best Android phone you can buy."
