"Beneath the array is the famous Curve keyboard, but slightly tweaked. The keys are a hair bigger and rounder than on previous models, but the overall keyboard is still quite small compared with the one on the Bold. Yet, because the keys are separated and raised, we had no problem typing out messages." 4.5/5 Stars

"The first thing you notice is just how thin this smartphone is. The Curve 9360 feels almost like it's not completely finished, as though you're holding a dummy unit in a shop. It's only 11mm thick, and light as a feather at 99g. It also has precise edges - not enough to cut you, but it certainly gives that impression." 4.5/5 Stars

"Comfortably compact and impressively slim, the BlackBerry Curve 9360 looks good and works hard to meet your needs. The newly-found skill makes it the definitive upgrade for anyone coming from a previous generation of the Curves. Even Bold 9700 and 9780 owners, who are trying to steer clear of touchscreen, can give it a thought."

"Much like all the other BlackBerries before it, the email experience never ceases to amaze us since it’s always giving us push support. Not only does it save battery, but it’s just nice to receive messages the moment they’re sent. However, we’re still waiting to see it upgraded to offer features like threaded conversation for easier organization." 8/10 Stars

"BlackBerry OS 7 is on board, as is near field communication (NFC) technology, which allows you to make contactless payments using your phone; for example, you will be able to pay for a coffee and a sandwich in one of the growing number of outlets where NFC terminals are being installed. You'll also find a nippy processor (by BlackBerry standards, at least), and a 5-megapixel camera. Also included are 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi." 3.5/5 Stars

"Calls sounded clear through an Aliph Jawbone Era Bluetooth headset ($129, 4 stars). Voice dialing worked perfectly over Bluetooth without training. The speakerphone went amazingly loud for such a thin phone. It didn't even sound tinny—a typical thin phone bugaboo—and there was only a touch of distortion at the top volume setting. " 3.5/5 Stars

"While applications install without a hitch, BlackBerry OS insists that the phone restart after applying updates. In addition, the update process is generally excruciating, often requiring minutes for each application to download and install, which typically causes the system to become unresponsive. Adding insult to injury, the phone often takes more than four minutes to fully boot. This would have been painful enough on its own, but it's an absolute disaster that users have to suffer these long wait times every time they update an app."
