The prices quoted for Orange Home Broadband plans are for customers who live in an Orange broadband network area (this includes 65% of all UK homes). Customers who have a pay-monthly mobile contract with Orange receive a discount on all plans. Customers can still receive Orange Broadband if they do not live within this network area, at an increased monthly cost.
All customers will need a BT telephone line to receive this service. Simply broadband customers will continue to pay line rental to their current broadband provider, whilst customers choosing one of the other packages will pay line rental to Orange.

Availability
You can check for speed and availability of this service by entering your phone number or postcode into the Orange website.
Switching Broadband Providers
Ask for a Migration Authorisation Code (MAC) from your current broadband provider for minimum downtime. Your broadband service should switch over within 10 working days of registering with Orange. There should be little or no disruption to your broadband service.
Hardware
All plans come with a free N-class wireless router.
All routers remain the property of Orange, and must be returned once your contract is terminated.

Easy self-installation using the CD provided. You can also choose to pay for professional installation.

Customer and technical support phone lines are open from 7am to 11pm, 7 days a week. The cost is less than 5p/min from BT lines, Orange Home Phones or second phone lines from Orange. Free online support is available 24 hours a day.
Online Account Management
This allows you to manage many aspects of your Orange telephone and broadband accounts 24/7, including viewing bills, making payments and updating account details online.
Email
1 email address is provided with 500MB storage. Anti-virus and anti-spam filters are included.
Webmail
Available on all plans, webmail allows you to send and receive emails from any internet connection.
Website
Web space is provided, along with a website building service.
Security
All plans include McAfee Privacy Service, with the option to buy the more comprehensive McAfee Internet Security Suite at a 20% discount.
Dial-Up
Available from Orange with free connection and no contract, dial-up services ensure a guaranteed connection at home should there be a fault with your broadband.
Landline
Orange offer 2 plans with a home phone line; one includes unlimited evening & weekend calls to UK landlines and the other unlimited anytime calls to UK landlines. Unlimited anytime international calls to 30 countries can also be added for a small cost. Line rental is paid to Orange in each case.
