More About BT
BT has been offering broadband services to UK customers for many years and is currently the largest Internet Service Provider (ISP) in the UK with around 4.6 million broadband users.
Total Broadband is a broadband internet product offered by BT Retail, which is part of BT Group plc. It was formerly known as BT Yahoo! Broadband, BT Openworld and simply BT Broadband. BT's best price broadband plans are offered as 'bundled' plans with a BT home phone line connection. They are the dominant fixed line phone and broadband Internet provider in the UK offering a range of bundled and un-bundled broadband plans.
BT's product range now includes three broadband types - they offer an ADSL service through your phone line called Total Broadband which offers speeds of up to 20Mbps and bundled pricing for home phones, and they now offer BT Infinity which is a super fast fibre optic connection (as compared to ADSL which uses your old copper wires in the phone line) and speeds of up to 40Mbps which means you get a very fast connection. BT also offer a mobile / wireless broadband service for accessing the internet when you are away from home (or not using a home phone service).
